Sketchbook no.2 (Nov 2023 – Jun 2024)

Sketchbook no.2 flip through (Nov 2023 – Jun 2024)
8.5×5 inches
This is the sketchbook that taught me what a “sketchbook” really is.

I was using it as a notebook in the beginning, so I didn’t show you the notes taking section. I have a lot of sketchbooks, but I used to “save” them for “better” art. So there was no space to practice and learning, and I expected myself to come up with “perfect” art when I come to draw or paint without practicing. Apparently, that won’t happen and I stop doing art for a long time.

My passion was ignited again when I was trying to learn Indian traditional and folk art last year. My confidence was building up slowly and I want to do art again.

Therefore instead of letting all my sketchbooks and art supplies collecting dust, I decided to use them. I mean like really “use” them, to practice, to learn, to do whatever I want.

This is the first one I filled with my learning process, the goods and the bads. I try my best not to judge and beat myself up on my learning journey. I hope my humble sharing may inspire you to start doing art!

Thank you for watching
Namaste
