I bought her watercolor book already, but haven’t work on it yet. This is such a great opportunity to kickstart!💪🏻

Day 1, we focused on tonal values/ variations. Sushma showed us how one color can achieve different tonal values and create depth in our painting. My first attempt is 🙈🙈🙈, but it’s a start! We will learn about water control on day 2.

Winter suddenly came and my mood is affected immediately. So I wanted something colourful and thick to doodle with. But I just want something cheap to play with🙈🙈🙈

Found this two set in Müller, the 20er set is on sales now(5,99€) and the pastel set is (3,49€). Total 9,48€ for 30 pens🥳🥳🥳

I didn’t expect much for the quality since I was not paying much. But I am surprised that the colors look really nice to me!🥰

They are using water-based ink. There is no bleed through on all 3 sketchbooks (art creation 140gsm, Hahnemühle 120gsm, Canson 100gsm). Minimal ghosting on the Canson 100gsm one.

Lord Ganesha is the god of new beginnings, the remover of obstacles, the god of wisdom and intelligence. I think this project was a good opportunity for me to experiment with different mediums. I believe that because of Lord Ganesha, my fear was under control this time🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am inspired by Kerstin @bx.fineart ‘s mini sketchbook. I was paying attention of hers on Instagram for a while.🙈 She was generous enough to allow me to flip through her mini sketchbook during the last @uskmannheim meeting. I can’t stop thinking about it after looking at it in real life😍

Therefore I made one for myself. It’s 5x5 cm. But it seems I glued the endpaper too much in to the spine direction, so it can’t lay flat now. Good enough for me as a first try, can’t wait to put some colours on it!!!💪🏻🥳
