Never say never.
You know what, my previous iPod mini pixel art as commented by my GF that "it that really drew by you? I doubt it."
My second attempt as an apprentice is a pixelated Andy Warhol masterpiece. It looks better in white background. Well, I know, my technique required further refinement.
Per your interest, I done my drawing with a Apple pro mouse on a Mac OS X machine with gimp.app (open source software) with 1600% zoom in. Then, use grab.app (bundled with Panther) to capture the enlarged screen. Edit the screen capture again by gimp.app. The font I used is silkscreen and it is recommended by an interesting pixel artist. Practitcally, I draw it with all free softwares. This pixelated VU cover art is inspired by his pixelated dark side of the moon.
